Esteemed Öner Tekin, has been appointed as "General Manager," as of 10.04.2017, to AYESAŞ and VESTEL Defense Industry Inc., which are private companies of our sector.

Esteemed Öner Tekin, who is going to administrate Defense and Aviation industry's leading UAV platform producer company VESTEL and AYESAŞ, the leading system supplier company that serves numerous International companies, in the General Manager position has made his Bachelor's in İstanbul Technical University Electronic & Telecommunication Engineering Department, and his Master'srs Degree in Boğaziçi University Electric & Electronics Engineering Department. He is currently continuing his Ph.D. degree in Yıldız Technical University Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering.

Following his graduation, he held respectively positions of; R&D Hardware Design Engineer, Operations Manager, R&D Director and Field Leader, R&D Leader in Information Technologies and finally Assistant General Manager and Executive Committee Member in Public, Defense and Telecom sectors, in NETAŞ Telekomünikasyon Inc. since August 1998.

Esteemed Tekin is a member of the Turkish Electronics Manufacturers Association (TESİD) and Istanbul Technical University Advanced Electronics Technologies and Development Foundation (İTÜ-ETA) supervisory board. Moreover, he has the title of visiting scholar at Yeditepe University.
